On 1 December WHO joins partners and communities to commemorate World AIDS Day 2025 calling for sustainable human-rights-centred approaches to end AIDS by 2030.

India records 48.7% decline in new HIV infections and 81.4% reduction in AIDS related death.

Stigma and Inequality

Social stigma and discrimination remain major barriers to testing and treatment in HIV AIDS patients.

Educate yourself and others; Share accurate, science-backed facts about HIV transmission and prevention to dispel myths and reduce fear.

Support

Show empathy and challenge discriminatory attitudes towards AIDS patients . Even small gestures of kindness help break the stigma.
