MSRTC has launched the 'Aapli ST' app to help passengers track buses, view schedules, and find nearby stops. The existing 'MSRTC Commuter App' will soon be renamed to 'Aapli ST' while keeping all features intact.
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation introduced a new mobile app called 'Aapli ST' (Our ST) for real-time bus tracking on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra
The app already maps 12,000+ buses and 1 lakh+ routes across the state.
Real-time tracking through service or ticket number, a nearby stop finder using your current location, schedules and route details between two stops, and emergency contact numbers with one-touch dialing.
Currently called the MSRTC Commuter App, the application is available on Android and iOS devices and is set to be rebranded as 'Aapli ST.' Moreover, a ticket booking feature with live tracking is being developed.
Now, commuters don’t have to wait aimlessly, they can plan arrival times and reduce uncertainty at bus stops.
People who travel daily, including students, office workers, and senior citizens, will all gain from shorter wait times and improved route planning.
MSRTC aims to update public transportation by incorporating digital solutions, providing transparency, efficiency, and an improved experience for commuters throughout Maharashtra.
The Aapli ST application was created in partnership with Rozmalta Autotech Ltd. It enables real-time tracking for over 12,000 MSRTC buses on more than 100,000 routes throughout Maharashtra.
