Pune: ‘Tyzer’, the apparel brand for men is aiming at to reach the 100 outlet-mark soon, said Kunal Marathe, Director and CEO of SP Lifestyle Brands Private Limited, the holding company of Tyzer. Kunal was addressing a press meet at Hotel Deccan Rendezvous on Monday, which was the first anniversary of the brand. The brand, which promises full replacement guarantee against any manufacturing defect in one year, has over 50 outlets spread across 17 districts in Maharashtra.
Speaking on the occasion Kunal said, “While expanding the chain of Tyzer further, our focus will be more on rest of Maharashtra other than Mumbai. The 50 new outlets that we are planning to set up in next 2 years will come up in regions like Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra.”
Kunal said usability and comfort do not go hand in hand. The clothes that are comfortableq are not very easy to use and maintain. At the same time the ones that are easy to use may not be very comfortable. “We have made a successful attempt to strike the right balance of comfort and durability with a perfect blend of fabric for Tyzer products which comes at right price and top quality, due to which Tyzer received a warm welcome in the highly competitive apparel market for men,” Kunal added.
In the very first year of its operation, only 0.5 per cent clothes were returned. The brand assures its customers that in case of manufacturing defect found within a year of purchase, one can return it at any Tyzer outlet. There is no compulsion of getting it replaced from the same outlet where it was purchased. Tyzer offers a wide range of shirts, trousers, T-shirts and jeans.
The manufacturing facility of Tyzer is located at Baramati. At present its manufacturing capacity is about 35,000 shirts and 8,000 trousers per month. Kunal said the current production capacity will soon be increased considering the upcoming expansion of stores.
