Pune: German headphone company Sennheiser has introduced a pair of headphones, which bypasses boundaries of expectations as well as pockets at a price of a whopping Rs 45 lakh.
Sennheiser launched the headphones in Pune on Friday. Kapil Gulati, Director, Consumer Segment, Sennheiser India, said, “We were very excited when we launched the Sennheiser HE1 in India. We are more ecstatic to bring it for our audiophiles and music enthusiasts in Pune for the first time. Setting an all-time high benchmark in the audio industry, the sound quality and experience are truly mesmerising.”
Gold Vaporised Ceramic Electrodes
Meticulous attention has been paid to every detail of the material selected for Sennheiser HE 1 to fully exploit the sound potential of the headphones. Each of the over 6,000 individual components was carefully chosen, their acoustic characteristics evaluated and the optimum combination was put together. For example, to ensure the outstanding performance of the acoustic unit, Sennheiser uses gold-vaporised ceramic electrodes and platinum-vaporised diaphragms.”
Ultra Wide Frequency Response
With its unique transducer system, Sennheiser HE 1 has a frequency response of 8 hertz to over 100 kilohertz. This frequency range exceeds the limits of human hearing.
Nevertheless, this extremely wide frequency response does influence the sound experience, as it ensures that, in the audible range, the sound of the headphones is virtually free of distortion.
