Sri Sri Ravishankar: ‘Learn new skills, stay positive during coronavirus lockdown’

PUNE: The Art of Living Founder and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar responded to some questions posted by youngsters through a Facebook Live session on Wednesday evening, which was facilitated by Sakal Media Group’s (SMG) Young Inspirators Network (YIN).

The Guru urged the citizens to treat this lockdown as an opportunity to learn a new skill and educate themselves. He said that the pandemic COVID-19 would change the way the world functions -- but it will change for good.

“Already, the crime rate in the world has come down. People will understand the meaning of humanity and friendship will blossom as world’s way of life will change,” he said.

Terming the fight against COVID-19 as the Third World War, he assured the youths that unemployment and other struggles due to this pandemic is momentary, and the focus should be on saving the human race. He advocated pranayam as a way to reduce stress during this lockdown period.

The Guru also urged people to get in touch with Art Of Living’s addiction helpline number 080-67612325 in case anyone is facing problems due to alcohol, drug addiction or domestic violence.

He also spoke about various subjects, including that of strengthening the immunity in an interview with Sakal Times.
