Soham Sawant secures 100 percentiles in JEE mains
PUNE: Soham Sawant secured a perfect 100 percentile in an individual subject while Satyam Singh achieved an impressive 99.9 percentile in the JEE main results that were declared yesterday. This year approximately one lakh additional candidates appeared for the exam with cut-off going slightly higher. Both are the students of city based Prime Academy.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 11 announced the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result. Among the 13,11,544 candidates registered for Paper 1 as many as 14 students scored 100 percentiles.
Candidates can check their results on jeemain.nta.nic.in. “The cut-off this year was 94 percentile”, said the official at Prime Academy. Nearly, 15 students at the academy crossed the remarkable 99 percentile marks.
Founder of Prime Academy, Lalit Kumar said, “"It’s always a great feeling to see students reap the rewards of their hard work. Now, they can shift their focus to JEE Advanced right after their board exams. Those who couldn’t perform well this time shouldn’t feel disheartened but instead aim for the second phase of JEE Mains in April."
Satyam Singh, who secured 99.9 percentile said, “JEE preparation has been a journey of consistency and perseverance. Throughout this path, the support of my teachers at Prime Academy, my parents, and my friends has kept me motivated."
The examination took place between January 22 and 30 and was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Meanwhile, the registration for the JEE Main April application has been started. Candidates who have qualified for it can log-on to the jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the Main 2025 April session exam is February 25 (till 9 pm). The fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm on February 25”, said the press release.
