Breaking Bad returning! Here's what we know
Breaking Bad's fifth season ended in 2013. And this followed a long unfilled void. Starting with writing to direction to performance of actors, Breaking Bad, as a show, stands exemplary in every department and can arguably pass off as the greatest TV show of all time. Much to the glee of everyone, the TV series is coming up with its sixth season.
This happened after fans took Twitter Instagram and Reddit by storm, relentlessly asking for a season six. The famous meth-cooking chemistry teacher show is coming back with season 6 after fans expressed how much they missed it.
Felina, the emotional series finale, aired on September 29, 2013, as the show bid adieu to the fans. The final episode, directed by the series creator Vince Gillian, saw Walter White keeping nine million dollars for Walter Jr and asks his old acquaintances Gretchen and Elliott to give it to him when he turns 18. White also acknowledges that he likes doing what he does. For his pleasure and pride, he continues to manufacture meth, and this time it is not for the benefit of his family as he had always said. White ends up succumbing to a gunshot wound and spends his remaining moments looking around the meth laboratory before he unexpectedly collapses and dies.
The fans always wanted to see more of the show. In 2019, Gillian directed the Breaking Bad movie, El Camino, a sequel to the original series. But the fans were clearly not satisfied with it and wanted more of the original.
Here is everything you need to know:
El Camino is not enough for fans
Although. The movie was made to satisfy the hunger of fans for more of these characters, but that clearly didn't help. Fans wanted the classic Breaking Bad appeal and missed the original essence in the film.
Jesse to return in season 6
We all really wanted to see more of Mr Pinkman and season six will bring us exactly that. Although El Camino captured almost everything Jesse fans would love to see, there is still so much room for showrunners to focus on for creativity. It will be fascinating to see what happens when he tries to create a new identity for himself.
What happens to the adult Walter Jr. who is richer by $9 million
Fans would love to learn what happens to the White family after the demise of the mighty Heisenberg. Where's the 18-year-old Walter Jr. with $9 million in the bank headed? Will he look to carry forward his father's legacy?
The production for the new season will most likely start after the coronavirus epidemic is over. All the developments have been suspended for the time being, and an official announcement can only be expected after the conclusion of the pandemic. As per the grapevine, the sixth season is expected to release in late 2021 or early 2022.
Breaking Bad returns and in Heisenberg style, it screams to the competition - 'Stay out of my territory'!
