History, culture, good food and good times

Artist Krupa Shah’s London holiday will give you major travel goals!

We all belong somewhere; to a place, its people and the life we lead. Then there’s a whole world out there; with another place, other people and a different way of life, waiting to be explored,” says celebrity artist Krupa Shah, who loves travelling and believes travelling is a way of life and a mindset.

Shah had recently been to London, her home away from home, to unwind and had a whale of a time visiting her all-time favourite places in the city. As her interests lie in royal things and heritage, London, the world’s cultural capital, had all the reasons to top her list of favourites.
Says Krupa, “London is a very peaceful city and I connect to its positivity. Being in London gives me a sense of happiness and the welcoming smiles from people make me feel a part of the city.”

The London Eye, Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel, is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the city and has made many appearances in popular culture.

A Thames river cruise is without doubt one of the best ways to see London, meandering through the heart of the city and pass so many of its most famous attractions like Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The Tower of London and many more.

“Though I’m not a foodie, my one definite stop is the Bombay Central Café. Its inspiration is taken from in and around the main station of India, Bombay Central, serving delicious, authentic Indian food. “It gives me a feeling of having Ghar ka Khana because I love Indian food,” says Krupa.

London is a central hub for fashion, art, films, etc. “Shopping in London is rich and classy and it has something for everyone; from history and culture to fine food and good times,” she says.

Ultimately it’s for experiences like these that we leave our homes, don’t we? The more unusual they are, the better it is.
