ALTBalaji’s suspense thriller show Apaharan has roped in award-winning actress Mahie Gill. The actress, who has created a mark in both Punjabi and Hindi film industry with films like Dev D, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Aatishbaazi Ishq to name a few, is all set to share the screen space with Arunoday Singh and Nidhi Singh in the show.
Mahie, who is making her digital debut with ALTBalaji, will be seen essaying a key role in the show. “Apaharan revolves around Arunoday’s character who was once a celebrated cop, is now a tainted criminal. With a gripping plot, the show is filled with twists, turns, mysteries and web of lies,” says a source.
The show will be produced and directed by Siddharth Sengupta, who has earlier directed popular shows like Balika Vadhu and Gulaal. The shoot for the show has begun and will soon be streaming on the ALTBalaji app and the website.
