For those women who would like to strut their confidence on the ramp, Zeeal Enterprises is organising their seventh state level fashion show in the city. To be held between August 2 and 4, the aim is to provide a platform to the people of Maharashtra to showcase their skills.

Giving details of the show,  Sweety Gosavi, one of the directors of Zeeal Enterprises, says, “The show was initially organised in Pune, but last year we also held shows in Nashik (March 2018) and Solapur (December 2018). The participants can register for this year’s Pune edition by July 1. The participants will be put into different age groups and judged accordingly.”

Gosavi, who is former Planet Mrs Asia 2008, adds that they have their own team to take care of the make-up, grooming, clothing and other crucial aspects of the participants. “Our intention is to help the contestants gain confidence and give them an opportunity to try something new. It helps individuals break out of their shell. To show support and appreciation to all the candidates, each contestant is presented with a crown,” she informs.

Last year, the Zeeal fashion show saw participation of 50 people, and the number is expected to grow this year. “Many people think that they cannot take part in fashion shows because they don’t belong to a certain class. The Zeeal Enterprises’ fashion show tries to encourage all people, especially married women who are often not given such opportunities, to come forward and take part in this event. The show is a blend of fashion, art and talent,” explains Urmila Bhosale, co-director of Zeeal Enterprise.
Once the contestants have cleared the auditions, they will have to sail through three rounds — Indian, Western and Indo-Western. Priya Roy, the winner of GlamWorld Miss India 2018 and the designated groomer of the team, says, “I will make sure that all the participants are given proper training and are nudged in the right direction during the course of the show.”

A team of professionally trained beauticians led by Kshama Dhumal, who runs Cleopatra Bridal Studio and Beauty Institute, will take care of the beauty needs of all the contestants. “Thanks to the Zeeal fashion show, around 45 make-up artists will get the opportunity to prove themselves and showcase their talent on a much larger scale,” she says.
