

Belift Lab, the agency representing the K-pop boy band ENHYPEN, announced on Tuesday that Heeseung will be departing from the group.
In a message shared on the fan platform Weverse, the company announced that it had engaged in thorough discussions with the members regarding the group's future plans and objectives.
The agency stated, "By engaging in in-depth discussions regarding each member's future vision and the team's trajectory, we recognized that Heeseung has a distinct musical direction he wants to follow. After thorough deliberation, we chose to honor his ambitions."
The subsidiary of HYBE Labels announced that the 24-year-old singer will leave the group, and ENHYPEN
will proceed with its promotional activities as a six-member band.
The company stated, 'While it is challenging to cover every aspect in a brief statement, we want to stress that this decision came after extensive consideration. We recognize that this announcement might be hard for fans to accept, but we hope you understand it was made with the future of both ENHYPEN and Heeseung in mind.'
Belift Lab stated that ENHYPEN will keep providing powerful performances and enthusiasm to their fans, called ENGENE. Heeseung will stay with Belift Lab and intends to launch a solo album.
Heeseung also conveyed a message to fans after the announcement.
“He expressed gratitude to the members with whom he experienced numerous emotions and to ENGENE, whose unwavering support filled every void, enabling him to progress toward a dream that once seemed unattainable. He mentioned, 'I am diligently working on an album to reunite with you all soon. I will continue to advance with the love from ENGENE always in my heart.'
Heeseung made his debut with ENHYPEN in November 2020 following his participation in the survival audition show 'I-LAND.' The group launched their entry into the K-pop industry with their debut album, 'BORDER : DAY ONE.'
