Speaking at the launch of Off The Rocks, Janhvi noted that as alcohol has become increasingly normalised in social settings, there is very little awareness about the point at which casual drinking turns into a clinical issue. She said, "The conversation around alcohol is either completely missing or heavily judgmental — and neither approach helps the people who actually need support. Alcohol addiction is real, it is a clinical condition, and it affects people from all walks of life.

She further discussed how alcohol addiction is frequently viewed as a moral shortcoming, which it is not, and is rarely acknowledged as a mental health condition requiring proper treatment and intervention. For Off The Rocks, Janhvi collaborated with Amaha, a comprehensive mental health organization.
