Kirti Kulhari announces separation from husband Saahil Sehgal
Actor Kirti Kulhari took to Instagram to inform her fans about her separation from her husband. While many replied in support of the actor, some contemplated it to be an April Fools Day prank.
On Thursday, Four Shots More Please! actress Kirti Kulhari took to Instagram to announce her separation with husband Saahil Sehgal. In a note she put out, Kirti wrote that they were parting ways "not on paper, but in life".
She wrote, "A simple note to let everyone know that my husband Saahil and I have decided to separate. Not on papers, but in life. A decision that's probably harder than the decision of "being with somebody", because coming together is celebrated by everyone you love and care about. And the decision of "not being with somebody" brings along pain and hurt to the same people. It's not easy. Guess it's not meant to be easy but IT IS WHAT IT IS."
In her post, she added, "To all those who really care, I am in a good place and I hope everyone who matters in my life is too. Will not be commenting further on this. Upward and Onward...Always..Kirti Kulhari." According to reports, the couple was together for over four years.
After the actor’s post on Instagram, her contemporaries and co-stars replied with supportive messages.
While actress Amrita Puri said, “So brave of you to be so honest and vulnerable on a public platform. But then you’ve always been @iamkirtikulhari (sic)” Sayani Gupta wrote, "You know we are in your corner na..". Actress Divya Dutta also replied to the post writing, "Big Hug to u my gal."
Meanwhile, some of the actor’s followers also contemplated if the post was meant to be an April Fools prank. One follower replied to her post, “But ye 1st April ko post kyu? I think you guys are celebrating April Fools Day!” Another follower asked, “Is it an April Fool Prank???”
