In the newest photos, Poonam smiles straight at the camera while flaunting her baby bump. In the first image, her T-shirt is rolled up, and in the second, she poses with it pulled down. In the caption, she added several emojis, including a pregnant woman, a milk bottle, and baby faces.
Responding to the photos, one user wrote, “Great prosthetic! Aren't you a day early for April 1st?” Another commented, “What? Seriously?” Several others suggested the images might be AI-generated, while some speculated it could be yet another publicity stunt.

In 2024, a post appeared on her Instagram account claiming she had died from cervical cancer. A few days later, she revealed that she had staged her death and was actually alive and in good health. Returning to Instagram, Pandey posted a video with the caption, "I feel compelled to share something important with you all - I am here, alive. Cervical cancer did not take my life."
In a separate Instagram post, Poonam explained that her stunt was intended to raise awareness about cervical cancer. "Tragically, it has already taken the lives of thousands of women, largely because they did not know how to address this illness. Unlike several other forms of cancer, cervical cancer is completely preventable. The crucial factors are the HPV vaccine and timely screening tests. We have the tools to make sure no one has to die from this disease," her caption added.
