While her co-contestants gathered to celebrate the show’s success at Farah Khan’s party, Shilpa chose to skip the bash and spend time at her shelter home instead. She later posted a touching video showing the warm reception she received there, explaining that even though she did not win the show, the affection she returned to made her feel like a true winner.

On Thursday, Shilpa posted a video on Instagram offering a glimpse of the heartfelt reception she received at her shelter home. The actor was greeted with garlands, rose petals, and affectionate hugs from the elderly residents. One elderly woman burst into tears upon seeing Shilpa, while another gently kissed her hand. In the video, Shilpa repeatedly expressed gratitude to everyone for their steadfast love and support throughout her journey on Lock Upp 2.

While posting the video, Shilpa wrote, "Back home after Lock Upp… Seeing all this love and support, it truly feels as if I’ve already won! A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you."

The touching video deeply moved people across the internet. One admirer remarked, "That’s Shilpa Shinde for you... ladies and gentlemen." In the second season of Lock Upp, Shilpa spoke about her shelter home, disclosing that after her family forced her out of her own house, she has been residing at her shelter home in Karjat. She explained that she joined Lock Upp because she hoped to win the cash prize to support her shelter home.
