Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The actor, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after complaining of breathlessness on August 8, was discharged from the medical facility on Monday. The 61- year old was tested negative for COVID-19.

On Tuesday Sanjay Dutt tweeted, "Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!"

Film journalist and editor-in-chief of Film Information, Komal Nahta, on his Twitter handle confirming the news  said, “Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery,” he tweeted.

On the work front Sanju Baba will feature in KGF Chapter 2. The poster of the action movie was released on his birthday recently.
