A 36-day-old baby in Mumbai has won the battle against the novel COVID-19. The baby, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus, has fully recovered.
In a noble gesture, the healthcare staff along with the doctors gave a big round of applause to the little warrior and the mother at the Sion Hospital.
The official Twitter handle of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra uploaded a video of the moment.
The caption reads, "For people of Maharashtra, age is no bar when it comes to putting up a fight. 36-day-old baby recovered from Covid-19 at Sion Hospital in Mumbai. Kudos to the team of doctors, nurses & ward boys.”
Also, Aaditya Thackeray, Tourism Minister of the state retweeted the video on his Twitter handle.
The video has garnered over three lakh views ever since it was making a buzz on the social media. Netizens were happy with the news of the little warrior defeating the novel infection. Many flooded the comments section and said it as ‘ray of hope’, whereas many also praised the tireless service of healthcare staff amid the outbreak.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra is the worst-hit state in the country with over 55,000 coronavirus cases reported whereas Mumbai which is the epicentre of the virus in the state has reported over 32,000.
