State Board extends the deadline for concession marks proposals
Pune: For students of 10th and 12th standard who are enrolled as sportspersons, NCC cadets and members of Scouts & Guides, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has once again extended the deadline for submitting proposals for increasing concession marks.
Principals and teachers of schools and junior colleges now will be able to present full proposals of the students who are part of sports and other activities to the District Sports Officer. These reports can be submitted by 20th June. The state board has clarified that this extension will be final and there will be no further extension in terms of producing results on time.
Considering the crisis of COVID-19 contagion, earlier the District Sports Officer had given an extension to submit proposals regarding concession marks till 20th of May. Giving a positive response to it, the board has agreed for the same.
Proposals from schools and junior colleges will be sent to the District Sports Officer by 20th June, and he has to send them to the respective Divisional Board office with recommendation after scrutiny by 25th June.
Also, the procedure of proposals of NCC and Scout Guide will be done as per the extension. This governmental order applies to only 2019-20 academic years. This will be the final extension. Dr Ashok Bhosale, Secretary of Board, said that schools and colleges must take care that no eligible student should remain deprived of his concession marks.
