Sushant Singh Rajput passes away: Bollywood, cricketers, politicians pour tributes

After the shocking news of the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput broke out on Sunday, Twitter was flooded with #RIP and heartfelt messages for the Bollywood actor. Politicians, film actors and actresses, sportsperson and many other known faces tweeted condolences messages for the actor's family members and loved ones and so did the entire nation.

The news came as a shock to all and few even remembered and cherished the happy memories they have had with the actor through their tweets. The actor was found dead in his Bandra apartment. Police have confirmed that no suicide 'note' was found in his flat. His team shared a message for the fans saying, "It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work as they have done so far. We request the media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief."

Many politicians including PM Modi, Mamta Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal offered their condolences.

The sports industry took to twitter as they grieved the demise of the 34-year-old actor.

The Bollywood industry received a huge shock, just like the rest of the world. Actors showed their emotional outpour on twitter by sharing photographs and remembering Sushant.

Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Srijit Mukherjee tweeted their reactions too. Mukherjee questioned why did Rajput have to take the "suicidal run?"

Film director Karan Johar uploaded a picture of Rajput and said how the news is heartbreaking and how he has strong memories with the actor along with a heartbreak emoticon.
