ANP Care Foundation Provides 38,195 Free Dialysis Treatments, Expands Services in Pune

In addition to dialysis, the foundation has introduced a physiotherapy center, where three doctors provide free treatment to patients from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune city, Ambegaon, and Khed talukas.

Pune: ANP Care Foundation has provided free dialysis treatment to 38,195 economically disadvantaged patients over the past four years, reinforcing its commitment to accessible healthcare. In celebration of its fourth anniversary, the foundation hosted a gratitude ceremony and inaugurated an expanded dialysis ward in Rahatani, developed with the support of the Polycab Social Welfare Foundation.

The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Ajay Jaysinghani (Promoter, Polycab India Ltd.), Rakesh Talathi (Executive Director), Neeraj Kundnani (Associate Vice President), and Manohar Pherwani (Head, ANP Care Foundation), alongside business leaders and social activists from the Sindhi community.

Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Talathi acknowledged the impact of ANP Care Foundation’s work: “It is a privilege to be associated with an organization that has made a tangible difference in the lives of so many. Free dialysis services have provided a lifeline to patients in need, and Polycab India remains committed to supporting such noble initiatives.”

Sharing the foundation’s journey, Manohar Pherwani recalled that the dialysis center was established amid the COVID-19 pandemic with just 11 dialysis machines. Over the years, it has expanded its capacity to 25 machines, operating under the supervision of two expert doctors and a team of 25 trained medical staff.

In addition to dialysis, the foundation has introduced a physiotherapy center, where three doctors provide free treatment to patients from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune city, Ambegaon, and Khed talukas. Dialysis services are available from Monday to Saturday, between 8 AM and 6 PM. The foundation also offers free breakfast and other essential amenities to patients.
