Pune: In a significant move toward proactive cancer care, Manipal Hospital, Baner, has launched a Preventive Oncology Clinic on the occasion of World Cancer Day.
The initiative is designed to provide early cancer detection through advanced screenings, risk assessment, and lifestyle counseling, enhancing treatment success rates. This effort aligns with the 2025 World Cancer Day theme, “United by Unique,” emphasizing personalized, technology-driven care tailored to individual health needs.

The clinic was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mukta Puntambekar, who highlighted the importance of early detection in improving patient outcomes.
