
Pune: In a significant move toward proactive cancer care, Manipal Hospital, Baner, has launched a Preventive Oncology Clinic on the occasion of World Cancer Day.
The initiative is designed to provide early cancer detection through advanced screenings, risk assessment, and lifestyle counseling, enhancing treatment success rates. This effort aligns with the 2025 World Cancer Day theme, “United by Unique,” emphasizing personalized, technology-driven care tailored to individual health needs.
A Step Towards Early Diagnosis and Prevention
The clinic was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mukta Puntambekar, who highlighted the importance of early detection in improving patient outcomes. Renowned oncologists Dr. Amit Parasnis, Dr. Lakhan Kashyap, and Dr. Karan Chanchlani shared their expertise on advanced diagnostic methodologies and preventive strategies.
