
Pune: The growing population and development of Bavdhan have led to the establishment of a new post office in the area, aimed at providing residents with easy access to postal services.
With the inauguration of this facility, Bavdhan now officially has its own pin code, 411071, offering convenience to residents who previously had to visit the Pashan post office for services.
The new post office was inaugurated by Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General of Maharashtra and Goa region, during a ceremony held in Bavdhan.
The event was attended by prominent officials, including Ramchandra Jayabhaye, Postmaster General of Pune Division; Simran Kaur, Director of Postal Services; and Rippan Dullet, Senior Superintendent of Pune City West Division, along with other officers and staff members.

In keeping with the motto "Dak Seva Jan Seva" (Postal Service is Public Service), the new post office will offer various postal services tailored to the needs of residents. The office will serve multiple areas, including:
Bavdhan Khurd and Bavdhan Budruk

NDA Road and Bavdhan Police Station vicinity
Residential complexes like Nyati, Brahma Vantage, Ramnagar, Patil Nagar, Deshmukh Nagar, and Puraniks Abitante
Other localities such as Amchi Colony, Bhunde Vasti, Bavdhan village, Stargaze, Chelaram Hospital, and Shindenagar
The establishment of this post office is expected to significantly reduce the inconvenience previously faced by residents in accessing postal services, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
