Pune, 3rd December 2024: The College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, hosted the Scroll Presentation Ceremony for the Engineer Officers Degree Engineering (EODE-126) and Technical Entry Scheme (TES-42) courses at Sarvatra Hall.

The ceremony witnessed 68 officers, including 31 from EODE and 37 from TES courses, being awarded B.Tech degrees in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.

Among the graduates were two officers from Bhutan and one officer each from Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Zimbabwe, with the degrees conferred under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Ceremony Highlights

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM), General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the valedictory address.

He highlighted the increasing complexities of defense infrastructure and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and technological innovation for the graduating officers.

Lieutenant General A.K. Ramesh, Commandant of CME, also addressed the graduates, encouraging them to stay updated with advancements in engineering to enhance their professional skills. Major General Gaurav Kaushal, Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM), Deputy Commandant and Dean of CME, presented the academic report for Autumn Term 2024.

  • Best Student, Civil Engineering: Captain Purnima Tiwari (EODE-126) and Lieutenant Amandeep Singh (TES-42)

  • Best Student, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering: Captain Lalit Kumar and Lieutenant Adamya Pratap Singh
