Pune: Sending jitters among the school students, parents and the school authorities, a private school at Sus Bavdhan road area of the city received the bomb threat through an email. However, later it was revealed that it was a hoax call.

Without losing a moment, the school authorities promptly called up the police. Taking swift action the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) conducted a thorough search in the school premises but did not found anything suspicious.

It happened so that early in the morning when the school began its daily functioning, an email on the school address popped-up threating a bomb planted in the school campus. After receiving call from school authorities’ police and BDDS reached the school, evacuated the students conducted a thorough check.

Nothing suspicious was found during this three-hour long search.

Meanwhile, Deputy commissioner of Police Vishal Gaikwad said “we are carrying out the investigations and will find out the original source of the email and its sender. We appeal citizens to stay calm and should stay away from the rumours regarding the incidents.
