
Daund police are investigating a theft incident where thieves broke into a mobile phone shop by forcibly breaking two shutter locks within just 160 seconds. The criminals made away with goods valued at approximately Rs. 57,000.
According to reports, the theft occurred late at night when the shop was closed. The burglars managed to break the two locks securing the shop’s shutter swiftly, gaining entry and stealing mobile phones and accessories before escaping undetected.
The rapid break-in and the precision with which the locks were broken have raised concerns about security measures at local businesses. Police have registered a case at the Daund police station and are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to identify and apprehend the culprits.
Shop owners in the area have urged authorities to increase night patrolling and install better surveillance systems to prevent such incidents in the future.
