As per a TOI report, Humane Sagar was taken to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on October 14, arriving at the emergency room at approximately 1:10 pm in a serious condition. He was promptly moved to the Medical ICU by doctors, where a specialized team conducted numerous tests and administered intensive care. Nonetheless, his health deteriorated further in the subsequent days despite the medical interventions.
On November 17, at 9:08 pm, Humane Sagar died from multi-organ dysfunction syndrome. AIIMS Bhubaneswar later released an official statement confirming the tragic incident and detailing the severe health problems he was experiencing, including bilateral pneumonia, acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF), dilated cardiomyopathy, severe respiratory failure, kidney injury, coagulopathy, and thrombocytopenia.
