Its been over 2 months now farmers have been protesting in the national capital. Farmers agitating against the contentious farm laws have said that they will march towards the parliament on February 1, when the Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman will read out the budget.

There has been over ten round of talks between the farmers and the centre but all have remained inconclusive. Farmers have clearly said that they don't want anything apart from repealing of all the three laws. Whereas, Centre has also made it stand clear by declining to revoke the new laws.

On 72nd Republic Day, farmers are all set to take out a tractor rally. Farmer unions have said that over 50,000 tractors will take part in this rally.

The latest farm laws were passed by the Rajya Sabha, on September 20th. The new farm laws, that were supposed' to bring relief to the poor farmers, have seen a major backlash.

The farmer's protest is just not limited to the national capital. Indians who are residing outside India have also raised their concern about the new farm laws and are in full support of the ongoing protest.
