Pune, 22 July 2025: Due to a leak in the sewage pipeline, a pool of dirty water has accumulated near Khandoba's Mala in Fursungi, near Siddhi Green Phase-2. Local residents are demanding immediate and appropriate measures to address the leak in the sewage pipeline here.

A sewage pipeline has been leaking continuously for the past fifteen days, causing dirty water to accumulate and form a large pool. The area is now filled with a foul stench, and the stagnant water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, raising serious concerns about a potential outbreak of disease.

If the situation continues, residents fear the disease could spread throughout the village. The administration must urgently stop the channel leakage, drain the stagnant water, and disinfect the area with appropriate medicinal spraying.

With no system in place to address the issue, the health of citizens remains at risk. Public dissatisfaction is growing, and despite repeated complaints and requests, the municipal administration has yet to take any action
