Pune: A young man lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run incident in Pune’s Undri area while out for a morning walk. The accident, which occurred near Nyati Esteban Society on Tuesday morning, has left the authorities searching for the victim’s identity and the driver responsible for the incident.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 7 AM when a speeding four-wheeler struck the victim. Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle did not stop after the impact, leaving the victim critically injured on the roadside.

Passersby immediately alerted emergency services, and the victim was rushed to Sassoon Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries before receiving medical treatment, with doctors confirming severe head trauma as the cause of death.

Authorities have faced challenges in identifying the victim, as no identification documents or personal belongings were found at the accident site. Local police are currently trying to determine his identity by inquiring with nearby residents.
