
Pune: In anticipation of increased travel demand during the Holi festival, Indian Railways has announced the operation of 28 special trains to facilitate passenger movement. Among these, additional services will be introduced on the Pune-Nagpur route, with a total of eight special train trips scheduled between the two cities.
As part of this initiative, the Pune-Nagpur-Pune weekly special train (Train No. 01469) will depart from Pune on March 11 and 18 at 3:50 PM, reaching Nagpur the following morning at 6:30 AM. The return train (Train No. 01470) will leave Nagpur on March 12 and 19 at 8:00 AM and arrive in Pune the same night at 11:30 PM.
Additionally, another special service (Train No. 01467) will depart from Pune on March 12 and 19 at 3:50 PM, arriving in Nagpur the next day at 6:30 AM. The return leg (Train No. 01468) will depart from Nagpur on March 13 and 20 at 8:00 AM, reaching Pune at 11:30 PM the same day.
These special trains have been introduced to ensure smooth travel for passengers heading to their hometowns for Holi celebrations. The railway administration has advised passengers to check train schedules and book tickets in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
