Pune: In a horrific case of filicide, a 28-year-old man brutally murdered his three-and-a-half-year-old son using a knife and blade. The murder was allegedly triggered by constant arguments with his wife over suspicions regarding her character. The Chandan Nagar Police have seized the murder weapon, and the accused has been sent to police custody until March 28.

The accused, Madhav Sadhurao Tiketi (28), a resident of Chandan Nagar, allegedly took his child to a deserted spot near Forest Park in front of Kharadi Dargah between March 20 and 21. He then slit the child’s throat using a knife, killing him on the spot.
