
Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced that hall tickets for the upcoming Class 10 board exams will be available online starting Monday, January 20. Schools and junior colleges have been instructed to print and distribute these hall tickets to students without charging any additional fees.
The Class 10 written examinations, conducted annually by the board, are scheduled to be held from February 21 to March 17 this year. The exams are commencing earlier than usual, as confirmed by the Board Secretary, Devidas Kulal. Students can access their hall tickets through the official website: www.mahahsscboard.in.
Important Instructions for Hall Tickets
Certification by Principal/Headmaster:
The hall ticket must carry the signature and stamp of the respective school principal or headmaster.
Corrections for Photos:
If the photograph on the hall ticket is unclear or incorrect, the school must replace it with the correct photo, certify it with the principal's signature, and affix the school stamp.
Duplicate Hall Tickets:
In case a student loses their hall ticket, the school or junior college must issue a duplicate copy. This duplicate ticket should be marked as "Duplicate" in red ink.
Corrections in Details:
For corrections in the hall ticket, such as name, mother's name, or date of birth, schools must use the online correction process.
A correction fee is applicable, and approval must be obtained from the respective divisional board.
Corrected hall tickets will be issued only after the divisional board's approval.
Subject or Medium Changes:
Any changes related to subjects or the medium of instruction should be handled by contacting the divisional board directly, as per the existing guidelines.
The board emphasized strict adherence to these procedures to ensure a smooth and error-free examination process for all students.
