Mumbai: Following the news of Bollywood Veteran Actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son, Abhishek Bachchan testing positive for coronavirus. According to media reports, Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Media reports suggested that Jaya Bachchan and her daughter Shweta Bachchan have tested negative for COVID-19. As per the reports, until yesterday Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Aradhaya Bachchan had tested negative.
On Saturday night, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share the news, his tweet read, "T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!"
Bollywood Actor, Abhishek Bachchan also requested his fans to not panic. He shared a tweet saying, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you."
Several prayers poured in after the news came out as several Bollywood actors and fans across the country, prayed for Bachchan family's speedy recovery. Netizens have taken up to their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter account to share their views and well wishes.
Earlier today, it was also found that Anupam Kher's mother Dulari, tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Veteran actor took to his social media account to share the news, "This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found COVID + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece in spite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative.@mybmc is informed."
