Mumbai: Trouble seems to be mounting for Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde after he found himself in a spot when his self-confessed second wife accused him of harassment and limiting their two children at his official bungalow.

Karuna Sharma has alleged that the Minister has kept their two children in ‘confinement' at his bungalow and has written a complaint to DGP Hemant Nagrale.

She claimed that when she went to meet their kids recently, a large mob of police personnel banned her entry. Demanding action against the Minister, Sharma has threatened to go on a hunger strike from February 20 either outside the Mantralaya, at Azad Maidan or at the minister's bungalow.

Reacting to the developments, the 47-year-old NCP leader from Beed district refuted the allegations levelled against him by his live-in partner.

Talking to mediapersons he said, “The issues between me and her are under the process of mediation. A mediator has also been appointed by the court while two rounds of talks have taken place on the subject of the children's custody and other issues. The allegations are baseless and intended to defame me.”

Karuna Sharma's allegations came weeks after her sister had made an unbelievable statement accusing Munde of raping her repeatedly for many years and lodged a written complaint with the Mumbai Police.

However, after some days, she abruptly withdrew her police complaint against Munde and the matter apparently died down.
