
Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of the Maharashtra SSC annual board examinations 2020 on Wednesday. This year, the pass percentage has been reported at 95.30 per cent. Like every year, girls outperformed boys with 96.91 per cent pass percentage while the pass percentage of boys witnessed 93.90 per cent.
All nine divisions in the state have registered over 90 per cent pass percentage. This year, over 17 lakh students appeared for the SSC exam in the state. Maharashtra board held class 10 exams in March. The board had to postpone and ultimately cancel the last exam due to the coronavirus outbreak and the ensuing lockdown. Students will be able to check their result on the official portal, 'mahresult.nic.in', after it is released online.
