The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) announced on Monday that the State Services Main Examination 2026, originally set for October 3, has been postponed.
It also postponed the Maharashtra Civil Engineering Main Examination 2026 and the Maharashtra Group-B (Non-Gazetted) Main Examination.
The MPSC stated in an official notice that new dates for all three examinations will be announced individually.
This decision follows objections raised by candidates and student groups regarding the assessment of the State Services Main Examination 2025, along with broader concerns about the commission’s overall examination procedures.
