Operation All Out 2.0: Mumbai police’s surprise raids help nab 33 offenders ahead NY celebrations

Mumbai: To crackdown on drugs, illicit activities and criminals, the Mumbai Police yet again organised a city-wide Operation All Out 2.0. The second phase of the operation was carried on December 23 between 11 pm and 2 am. Bombshell raids and wide combing operations were carried out around the city ahead of New Year celebrations. It resulted in arrests of dozens of absconding offenders.

The police conducted Operation All Out during the midnight of December 23. Operation All Out was administered by Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh and was led by Joint Commissioner of Police (law and order) Vishwas Nangre Patil, Additional Commissioners of police of all five regions, 13 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and other senior officers. During the drive, a total of 1,448 offenders on the record were investigated out of which 238 accused found. An action was taken on 93 accused in different crimes.

9: Action was taken under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) for the consumption of drugs (cannabis).
