Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday seized 'Malana Cream' hash worth around Rs 2.50 crores in Mumbai, official sources said.

The raid was carried out on Wednesday morning. Regel Mahakal, a supplier of the Malana Cream was detained for questioning and was arrested later.

The raids were carried out late Tuesday-early Wednesday in Andheri after Mahakal's name came up during the ongoing drugs nexus by the investigational agency. The raid is said to be associated with the unending probe into the Bollywood-drug mafia angle that arose after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The 36-year-old breathed his last on June 14 in Mumbai.

Over 25 persons have been arrested as a part of investigations and more than 50, including Bollywood personalities, drug peddlers and more have been grilled by the NCB to unravel the angle.

Those under the NCB radar currently include Sushant Singh Rajputs’ girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Arjun Rampal, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya, to name a few.
