Pune: In a major reshuffle, the state government has ordered the transfer of 30 senior police officers, including Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police, across various districts and departments.
Among the significant appointments, Shirish Sardeshpande has been named the Superintendent of Police of the Anti-Corruption Bureau's Pune division, while Amol Tambe has been transferred to the role of Vigilance Officer at the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
This extensive reshuffling comes as part of the government’s strategy to strengthen the administrative efficiency of the police force in key regions. Several officers have been reassigned to different regions, with changes taking place in Pune, Solapur, Nagpur, Thane, and other significant areas.
