Pune: In a shocking incident, Satish Wagh, the uncle of MLC Yogesh Tilekar, was abducted near Blueberry Hotel on Solapur Road in Pune. The incident occurred on Monday (December 9) morning when Wagh was reportedly waiting outside the hotel.

According to eyewitness accounts and a complaint filed by Wagh’s son, a four-wheeler stopped abruptly in front of Wagh, and two men emerged from the vehicle. The suspects allegedly forced him into the car and drove off.

Following the abduction, Wagh’s son lodged a formal complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station.

Acting on the complaint, police registered a case against unidentified individuals and began an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the kidnappers headed toward Solapur.

Law enforcement officials are actively pursuing leads and have intensified search operations in the surrounding areas. Further details about the motive and identities of the abductors remain unknown.

Recently, Pandit Jadhav, a bullock cart owner from Maval region, was kidnapped by his tenant, Suraj Wankhede, and subsequently killed as part of a plan to extort ₹50 lakh from Jadhav’s family. The Anti-Extortion Squad had apprehended Wankhede, while his accomplice, Ranjit Kumar, remains at large.
