India’s first ever paperless Union Budget 2021 will be presented on February 1 (Monday). This will be the first-ever budget after in independent India to go paperless in the wake of COVID-19. Both the houses of parliament decided to present the Union Budget 2021 paperless.
With a hope to recover the economy that has been hit badly by the novel COVID-19, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the eighth Union Budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government on February 1. The Union Budget 2021 is expected to rise to spend on various segments such as agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure and more.
The Finance Minister, who will present her third Union Budget, has called the upcoming Budget a ‘never before’ occasion, suggesting that the central government might declare several schemes for pandemic-hit sectors to revive the decreasing economy. Nirmala Sitharaman will begin her budget speech at 11 am.
