The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Monday declared the JEE (Advanced) 2020 result on its official website. Students who have appeared in the JEE Advanced 2020 exam can be check results on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
Chirag Falor of IIT Bombay zone secured All India Rank -1 in the Common Rank List (CRL) as he bagged 352 out of 396 while Kanishka Mittal topped the list in female category. She bagged AIR- 17 in the CRL by scoring 315 from 396.
The total marks gained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) is the total of the marks scored by him or her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The rank lists are made on the basis of aggregate marks. Only students who appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking. Only candidates who score the minimum arranged marks in each subject and in aggregate will be comprised in the rank list. The minimum prescribed marks differ with the category.
A total of 1.6 lakh students had registered for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced after qualifying the JEE-Main exams, of which 96 per cent appeared in the exam. The JEE Advanced 2020 examination was conducted on September 27, at various centres spread across the nation.
