Speaking to citizens, Ram said the PMC will prioritise providing basic infrastructure in these areas and will set a clear timeline for completing the works. He also warned that officers failing to meet deadlines would face strict action, signalling a firm approach toward accountability.

Ram added that he would write to the state government and the PMRDA commissioner to request a temporary halt on new construction until the municipal body can match infrastructure development with the pace of new buildings. PMC officer Madhav Jagtap confirmed the visit and said residents had expressed strong dissatisfaction with the delay in civic works.
