Pune: Porsche India has recorded its best-ever annual sales, crossing the 1,000-unit mark for the first time in 2024 with 1,006 vehicles sold. This represents a 10% growth over the previous year, driven by the successful introduction of new models, including the Porsche 911 and Panamera, as well as strong SUV demand.
The milestone announcement was made at the India premiere of the all-new Macan BEV and Taycan sports saloon during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi.
Porsche India Brand Director Manolito Vujicic unveiled ambitious plans to sustain this momentum by opening three new Porsche Centres in Indore, Jaipur, and Lucknow by the end of 2025.
Record Sales Driven by New Models and SUV Popularity
Porsche India saw significant growth in its two-door sports car segment, selling 156 units of the 911, 718 Cayman, and Boxster models—a 95% increase over 2023. SUVs dominated sales with a combined 713 units, including 454 Cayennes and 259 Macans, accounting for 71% of the total sales volume.
Vujicic expressed satisfaction with the brand’s performance, saying, “After a strong 2023, we are thrilled to have exceeded expectations in 2024 by selling over a thousand cars for the first time. This success is a result of exciting customer experiences, innovative products, and strategic expansion efforts.”
Launch of Next-Generation BEVs
To further strengthen its portfolio, Porsche India unveiled two new BEV models at the expo:
Macan BEV: Available in three variants—Macan (₹1,21,62,000), Macan 4S (₹1,38,62,000), and Macan Turbo (₹1,68,62,000)—the new electric SUV offers cutting-edge performance and advanced features.
Taycan: Initially available in two variants—Taycan 4S (₹1,89,42,000) and Taycan Turbo (₹2,52,62,000)—the sports saloon boasts an extended WLTP range of up to 678 km, a 35% increase from its predecessor.
“Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be an exciting year for Porsche India as we bring a completely refreshed model line-up to market and expand into new locations,” Vujicic said.
