Pune, 18 September 2025: Pune marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday with a spectacular drone and light show organised by Union Minister of State and city MP Murlidhar Mohol. Thousands of Punekars gathered to witness the night sky turn into a vibrant display of lights, colour, and creativity.
The show presented a stunning blend of Maharashtra’s cultural heritage and India’s developmental vision, featuring illuminated patterns, national symbols, and inspiring messages. Scenes from the Prime Minister’s journey and the theme of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) were brought to life through hundreds of synchronised drones.
For many spectators, it was more than just entertainment. Mohol described the evening as an emotional and memorable experience, saying the dazzling formations carried a strong message of unity and hope for India’s future.
This was the first event of its kind in Maharashtra, following similar celebrations in Ayodhya and Varanasi. The display left the crowd in awe as lights and colours danced across the Pune sky, blending pride with festivity.
State minister Madhuri Misal, along with MLAs Bhimrao Tapkir, Siddharth Shirole, Sunil Kamble, Hemant Rasne, and other BJP leaders, joined thousands of citizens to celebrate the Prime Minister’s milestone birthday in an evening filled with patriotism and joy.
