The victim met one of the accused, Rishikesh, who introduced her to Shantanu Kukde. Kukde provided her with accommodation and financial assistance for education, exploiting this relationship for personal gain. The assaults occurred at multiple locations, including Lonavala, Raigad, and Panshet, under the guise of social gatherings.
