Pune, 31 July 2025: Residents across several western and southern parts of Pune are likely to face low water pressure on Thursday, July 31, due to scheduled maintenance work by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The work will be carried out at the Vadgaon water treatment plant between 12 noon and 2 PM.

During this two-hour window, the operations at the plant will be temporarily shut, affecting the water supply network linked to it. This is expected to result in reduced water pressure in areas such as Hingne, Dhayari, Katraj, Ambegaon, Anandnagar, Vadgaon, and surrounding localities.

Other areas that may be affected include Dattnagar, Dhanakwadi, Bharati Vidyapeeth campus, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd and Budruk, Yewalewadi, Sahakarnagar (Part 2), Ambedkarnagar, Tilaknagar, and the vicinity around Date bus stop.

Additional pockets expected to experience similar issues are Santosh Nagar, Satchaimata Tank area, Sunda Mata Nagar, Wonder City, Morebag, Balajinagar, Kedareshwar Tank area, Sukh Sagar Nagar (both sectors), and parts of old wards 38 and 41.
