The proposed route will cover key residential, IT, and industrial zones, including Wakad, Pimple Saudagar, Pimple Gurav, Bhosari, and Chakan. It will also create major junctions at Nashik Phata, connecting to Bhosari, Chakan, and Pune city, and at the Bhakti-Shakti metro station in Nigdi, linking to Ravet, Wakad, and other areas.

Officials say this corridor will be vital for industrial, educational, and residential connectivity, especially along the Bhakti-Shakti to Chakan stretch. It will also support balanced urban growth and strengthen public transport infrastructure in the region.
