The buses will be operated in two phases. The first phase will see 168 extra buses on August 29, 30, and September 5. The second phase, covering August 31 to September 4 and September 6, will have 620 extra buses. Officials said these will run on regular routes but as "special festival services," particularly late into the night.

PMPML has also clarified the fare system during the festival. All passes will remain valid until midnight, but after that passengers will need to buy tickets. For late-night trips, fares will be ₹10 more than usual.

Due to traffic restrictions during Ganeshotsav, PMPML has made some adjustments on routes passing through Shivaji Road, Bajirao Road, Laxmi Road, and Tilak Road. Diversions will be applied wherever necessary.

The late-night bus service will cover key locations such as Swargate, Katraj, Dhankawadi, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Hadapsar, Pune Station, Market Yard, Alandi, Saswad, Jejuri, Manjari, Theur, Fursungi, Kondhwa, Salunke Vihar, Bhosari, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Vishrantwadi, Pashan, Balewadi, and Hinjewadi. Additional services will also be made available from Congress Bhavan, Deccan Gymkhana, Dandekar Bridge, and Pimpri Metro Station.
