Pune, 7th June 2025: A tragic incident took place in Pune’s Sinhagad Road area, where a 29-year-old woman named Deepali Jadhav ended her life after her boyfriend allegedly refused to marry her. The woman, a mother of two, reportedly died by suicide by hanging. The incident has been registered at the Parvati Police Station, and further investigation is ongoing.

Deepali had earlier separated from her husband due to domestic abuse and harassment. Her husband was addicted to alcohol and would frequently beat her. Unable to bear the abuse, she moved back to her maternal home in Anna Bhau Sathe Colony about five to six months ago, along with her children.

Eventually, Deepali expressed her desire to marry Tushar. However, he refused her proposal, which left her emotionally shattered.

According to the complaint filed by Deepali’s brother, Abhijit Bhosale, she called Tushar and told him that if he didn’t marry her, she would take her own life. Despite this, Tushar did not change his decision. Depressed and heartbroken, Deepali ended her life by hanging herself in her home.
